Amanda Leveille returns to her alma mater as an assistant coach for the 2026–27 season following a decorated collegiate and professional career, along with nearly a decade of coaching and development experience.
One of the most accomplished goaltenders in program history, Leveille helped lead Minnesota to three NCAA national championships during her collegiate career. She earned All-USCHO honors and was named to the NCAA Frozen Four All-Tournament Team, finishing her career ranked second in program history with 98 wins.
Following her time with the Gophers, Leveille continued her success at the professional level, earning NWHL Goaltender of the Year honors in 2018 and 2021 while capturing Isobel Cup championships in 2017 and 2019. She also won a Walter Cup championship and earned a gold medal with Canada’s Development Team at the 2016 Nations Cup.
Leveille brings extensive experience in goaltender development, currently serving as a director of goaltending operations and working with more than 150 athletes annually across Minnesota. Known for her modern, individualized approach, she emphasizes decision-making, mental resilience, and performance under pressure, tools she will bring to Minnesota’s goaltending unit.
