2021-22 • Sophomore Season: Made season debut in 4-1 loss against Ohio State (Oct. 2).

2020-21 • Freshman Season: Appeared in 17 of 20 games and recorded one shot on goal • made collegiate debut in a season-opening 4-0 win over Ohio State (Nov. 21).

High School: A 2020 graduate of Edina High School where she played for coaches Sami Reber, Ellie Lee, Megan Armstrong, Casey Purpur, and Josh Reber • a three-sport athlete for Edina competing in hockey, cross country, and track & field • earned three varsity letters in hockey and one in cross country • two-time all-conference honoree • served as team captain as a senior • part of two state championship teams at Edina as a sophomore and junior as the Hornets won the Minnesota Class AA State Tournament in 2017-18 and 2018-19 • team finished as state runner-up as a senior in 2019-20 • helped Edina to three-consecutive conference titles and section titles • named to 2020 Minnesota Class AA all-tournament team • attended USA Hockey Development Camps in 2016, 2017, and 2018 • played club hockey with 2015 Team Minnesota Selects, OS Selects (2016-2018), and the Minnesota Junior Whitecaps (2018-2020), Minnesota Machine (2010-2016), Minnesota Elite Sky (2017-2018), Minnesota Elite Grey (2018-2019), and Minnesota Elite Tradition Black (2019-2020) • received Edina’s Hobey Baker Character Award • academic all-conference honoree • Edina Girls Hockey Academic Scholarship recipient.

Personal: Daughter of Keith and Kelly Jungels • has three siblings, Chase, Jett, and Vivian • shoots left • intends to pursue medical school • high school teammates with Gopher teammate Emily Oden • brother Jett plays hockey at Northern Michigan • uncle Ryan Barton played football at Iowa from 1998-2000 • enjoys being outside, spending time at the lake, wake surfing, and calligraphy • also played soccer, tennis, and lacrosse while growing up.
