2023-24 Freshman Season: Winner of Outstanding Student-Athlete Award (GPA of 3.50+) at team banquet... Big Tens: finished 15th in the 200 free (1:47.55), 22nd in the 100 free (49.85) and 28th in the 50 free (23.00); member of the 200 free relay (6th - 1:30.55), 400 free relay (6th - 3:17.69) and 800 free relay (6th - 7:10.32)... Purdue/Iowa/Northwestern Quad-Dual: placed second in the 200 free (1:47.38) and third in the 100 free (49.81)... Pitt Dual: won the 200 free (1:50.25) and got third in the 100 free (51.19)... Tampa Dual: finished second in both the 50 free (24.52) and 100 free (52.75)... Minnesota Invite: finished ninth in the 100 free (49.57) and 11th in the 100 fly (53.89)... Wisconsin Dual: captured second in the 100 free (50.25) and third in the 200 free (1:50.93)... St. Thomas/South Dakota State Tri-Dual: won the 50 free (23.35) and got second in the 100 fly (55.73)... High School: Attended the International School in Belgrade, Serbia • swam at the 11th April Swimming Club • holds club records in the 50m and 100m freestyle and butterfly • competed at the European Junior Swimming Championships in 2022 and 2023, World Junior Swimming Championships in 2022 and European U23 Swimming Championships in 2023.
Personal: Daughter of Bojan and Ivana Kaljevic • has a fraternal twin sister, Anja, who is one minute older and is also a member of the Gopher swim team • hobbies include hiking with family, stargazing, watching sunsets, reading horror fiction and watching nostalgic movies with her sister.
Why Minnesota? I chose Minnesota because I immediately felt a connection with the coaches even though my recruiting process was entirely online. I admire their team culture as well as the academic opportunities this school provides.
