2012-13 Senior Season: Finished eighth in both the 50 free and 100 fly, as well asswimming on the fifth place 200 medley relay and 200 free relay teamsagainst Kansas (10/20).
2011-12 Junior Season: Member of the fourth place 200 medley relay team vs. Kansas finished sixth in both the 100 fly (1:01.58) and 50 free (25.93) at the Iowa State dual also part of the runner-up 200 medley relay and 400 free relay against Iowa State.
2009-10 Freshman Season:Opened her Gophers career competing in three events at the Minnesota Grand Prix (11/13) finished fifth in the 100 free with her season-best time (53.42) at the Falcon Invite (12/4) finished her season at the Minnesota Challenge (2/5) with season-best times in the 50 free (24.64) and 100 fly (59.76) swam in the 200 free relay, 400 free relay, and 200 medley relay at both the Falcon Invite and the Minnesota Challenge.
High School:A 2009 graduate of Lakeville South High School swam with high school team and the South Metro Storm Swim Club earned NISCA All-America honors in 2006, 2007 and 2008 all-state selection in 2005, 2007 and 2008 was a part of the state champion 200 free relay her senior year and set the all-time Minnesota and meet record three-time all-conference selection was a team captain and the most valuable swimmer lettered in swimming, golf, academics, marching band and drumline outstanding student was a member of the National Honor Society was an Academic All-American, All Conference, ExCEL award winner, Triple A award winner and Marine Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Personal: Born September 18, 1990 daughter of Randy and Kathy Herrild has a younger brother, Alex majoring in economics.
