Emily joined the Athletic Medicine staff as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer in June 2018, responsible for Women's and Men's Tennis and the All-Girl Cheer Squad. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Iowa in May 2017. At the University of Iowa, she worked primarily with the Iowa City High School Football team, the Iowa Women's Basketball team, and the Iowa Cross Country and Track and Field team. Prior to joining the staff at the University of Minnesota, Emily gained experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer Intern at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA throughout the 2017-2018 school year. Here she served as the primary ATC for Men's Soccer, Indoor Track and Field, and Women's and Men's Lacrosse.
Emily is trained in Blood Flow Restriction and FAT tool. She is also an ImPACT Trained Athletic Trainer.
Emily is originally from Lancaster, WI, and plans to graduate in the spring of 2020 with a Master of Public Health degree in Public Health Administration and Policy.
