2017 SPRING SEASON
Went 5-5 in singles play and 11-12 in doubles - played in every singles slot except for the No. 1 spot - primarily played in the No. 1 spot in doubles with teammate Merzbacher - won first two singles matches of the spring season while only dropping one game in two matches - won first two matches in doubles including a 6-0 victory over the No. 2 South Dakota State pair of Velazco/Chela - picked up first B1G victory over Wisconsin in a 6-1 strong performance with the help of Merzbacher - strung together four straight doubles victories with three of them on the road.

2016 FALL SEASON
Went 7-7 in singles play and 10-7 in doubles - won three singles matches and four doubles matches at the Gopher Invitational - added two more singles victories and three doubles victories at the FGCU Fall Tournament - won two matches in both singles and doubles at the ITA Central Region Championships - finished the fall season with a doubles victory with Caitlyn Merzbacher at the Kitty Harrison Invite.

2016 SPRING SEASON
Went 6-2 in singles and 10-10 in doubles in the spring season - partnered with Caitlyn Merzbacher at the No. 3 doubles spot to go 10-9 - played No. 3-6 singles spots and had a five match win streak going at one point - picked up a win against No. 73 South Alabama's Paula Sanchez - went 1-1 against Big Ten opponents. 

2015 FALL SEASON 
Completed her fall season with a record of 6-5 in singles play and 6-6 in doubles play at the Gopher Invite Safdar went 4-2 in doubles with a 3-1 singles record to start her season - won her first round match at the ITA Central Region Championships in singles and won two consolation matches. She also won one doubles consolation match won a doubles match with teammate Caroline Ryba at the Thunderbird Invitational.

2014-15 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Finished the season 7-5 in singles and 20-15 in doubles - six of seven singles wins came in straight sets - went 6-1 in singles and 13-6 in doubles at the Baseline Tennis Center - in the spring season, had a 3-0 singles record and a 12-10 doubles record - won three times at No. 1 doubles, including twice with Tereza Brichacova - had a 10-5 doubles record with Mehvish Safdar - duo led the team with six conference wins and won six straight matches from March 16 to April 5 - had a 4-5 singles record and an 8-5 doubles record in her first fall season - tied for the team lead with eight fall doubles wins - reached the singles championship match at the Gopher Invitational by winning the first three matches of her collegiate career (Sept. 19-21) - advanced to the second round of singles qualifying at the ITA Central Region Championships (Oct. 16-20) - had first, second and third-place finishes in doubles at the Gopher Invitational (Sept. 19-21) - went 6-2 in fall doubles Brichacova, including a run to the doubles quarterfinal round at the Central Regionals (Oct. 16-20).

PRIOR TO MINNESOTA
Played tennis at Ursuline Academy in Ohio - finished her prep career with a 116-8 singles record and a 24-0 doubles mark, recording the most total (140) and singles (116) victories in school history - named a national high school tennis All-American in 2013-14 - was a two-time Ohio state singles champion and was the 2010 state doubles champion with her sister, Komal - was the first Ursuline player to win both titles - won two district singles championships and one district doubles title - three-time sectional singles champion - earned Ursulines' Team Award in 2011 and 2013 - four-time First Team Singles Girls Greater Catholic League (GGCL) All-Star and two-time GGCL Player of the Year - was a First Team Singles Greater Cincinnati Tennis Coaches' Association (GCTCA) All-Star two times and was the GCTCA Player of the Year in 2011 and 2013 - First Team Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star in 2010 and 2012 and was the publication's player of the year in 2011 and 2013 - four-time Ohio Tennis Coaches' Association (OTCA) all-state selection and winner of the OTCA Student-Athlete Racquet Award in 2012 and 2013 - Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky (GCNK) Women's Sports Association High School Sportswoman of the Year in 2011 and 2013 - LaRosa's MVP of the Year Finalist in 2013.

PERSONAL
Considering a major in psychology - was a four-year honor roll student in high school - enjoys writing and leisure running - most memorable sports thrill was winning the high school state doubles tournament with her sister, Komal, when she was a freshman and Komal was a senior - sister, Komal, plays tennis for Syracuse - daughter of Shahzad and Wardha Safdar - born September 14, 1996.
