2014 · Redshirt Junior Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten · ran five races · placed among the top eight Gophers at three meets · finished 34th overall and 11th on the team at the Oz Memorial 6K with a time of 24:26.9 · finished the Griak Invitational in 24:33.6 as the 15th Gopher · finished fourth on the team and 28th overall at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invite in a season-best 23:13.0 · finished eighth on the team in the open race at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational in 23:33 · placed 13th overall as the fifth Gopher at Rocky's Run (24:18).
2013 · Redshirt Sophomore Season: Raced in six meets · ran a career-best 22:44 as the seventh Gopher at the open race of the Wisconsin adidas Invitational · finished sixth on the team and eighth overall in 22:51.3 at Jack's Run · opened the season as Minnesota's 16th runner at the Oz Memorial (23:54.9) · posted career-best times in three-straight races at the Griak Invitational (23:06.3) and the Blugold Invitational (23:00.86) leading up to the Wisconsin adidas Invitational (22:44) · finished 17th (ninth Gopher) at Rocky's Run (24:07).
2012 · Redshirt Freshman Season: Ran a season-best time of 23:40.7 at the Neubauer Invitational · competed in three races total.
2011 · Freshman Season: Redshirted the 2011 cross country season.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Arrowhead High School in Hartland, Wis. · high school coach was Curt Kaczor · lettered all four years in cross country, basketball and track & field and served as a captain in all three sports · cross country team was state champions in 2007 · state runner-up in 800m and 4x800-meter relay · school record-holder in the 800m and 4x800m · four-time academic all-state honoree · six-time 800m conference champion · earned all-area honors in basketball as a senior · four-year honor roll member · National Honor Society member.
