2026 Outdoor Track & Field • Redshirt Junior Season: Posted the No. 2 all-time NCAA hammer throw mark of 75.72m (248-5) at Tom Jones Memorial on April 18... Broke the African and Liberian hammer throw record with her 75.72m (248-5) mark in Gainesville, Fla.... Set the then-Big Ten record and school record of 71.22m (233-8) at the LSU Battle on the Bayou... Launched a 59.58m (195-6) at the Battle on the Bayou in the women's discus, good enough to improve on the No. 2 spot in school history... Named a 'The Bowerman' Watch List member on March 25... Broke the program record for most Big Ten weekly honors won with her 10th honoring on April 8 after the Battle on the Bayou in Baton Rouge.
2026 Indoor Track & Field • Redshirt Junior Season: Won weight throw NCAA title with a toss of 25.13m (82-5 1/2) in Fayetteville, Ark., at the Randal Tyson Track Center... Nabwe's NCAA championship mark is No. 3 in NCAA history and the best in Big Ten history... Nabwe's 25.13m (82-5 1/2) was the best throw by an NCAA student-athlete since 2022 (Shey Taiwo, Ole Miss)... Earned her first First Team All-America finish in the weight throw with her championship performance... Eclipsed 23-meters to earn a silver medal at the Big Ten Indoor Championships with a 23.09m (75-9 1/4) in Indianapolis, Ind.... Qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships shot put for the first time with her 17.36m (56-11 1/2) to finish fifth overall at the Big Ten Indoor Championships... Won the Big Ten Outdoor Championship hammer throw with a championships record of 69.85m (229-2) at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.... Earned a silver medal in the women's discus at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a mark of 55.36m (181-7)... Won the Drake Relays hammer throw with a toss of 67.14m (220-3)... Named the Big Ten's Field Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Drake Relays... Won Hamline's Meet of the UnSaintly hammer throw, hosted at the University of Minnesota, with a throw of 68.30m (224-1).
2025 Indoor Track & Field • Redshirt Sophomore Season: Earned second consecutive All-America honor in the weight throw with an 11th-place finish of 21.59m (70-10) in Virginia Beach, Va., at the Virginia Beach Sports Center... Won her second consecutive Big Ten weight throw title with a 24.22m (79-5 1/2) on her sixth and final attempt... Was Minnesota's first Big Ten champion in any sport after in the newly expanded conference that added Southern Cal, UCLA, Washington and Oregon... Nabwe became the fifth Big Ten women's weight thrower to defend their conference title and the first to do so since 2016 when two-time Olympian Kelsey Card went back-to-back... Ended the season No. 2 all-time in Minnesota history in the weight throw, only behind NCAA weight throw champion Kaitlyn Long (2018)... Completed the indoor season No. 8 all-time in the weight throw among collegiate athletes... 2024 Outdoor Track & Field • Redshirt Freshman Season: Earned a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten team... Qualified for the NCAA West Regional in the shot put, discus and hammer throw, making her one of just three in the nation to do so (men and women combined)... Broke a five-year-old school record in the outdoor shot put with a toss of 17.59m (57-8 1/2) at the NCAA West Regional to advance to the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the first time... Finished as an honorable mention All-American in the shot put, finishing 17th overall with a mark of 16.41m (53-10 1/4)... Was the Big Ten's silver medalist in the shot put, claiming her second conference medal with a toss of 17.43m (57-2 1/4)... Earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors in the shot put... Also scored at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the hammer throw, where she was fourth with a toss of 65.22m (214-0)... Helped claim Minnesota's first outdoor women's team title since 2018 by scoring in the shot put and the hammer throw... Set an NCAA freshman record in the weight throw with a mark of 23.36m (76-7 3/4) at the Big Ten Indoor Championships... Was named the Big Ten's Indoor Freshman of the Year... Was Minnesota's first thrower since Liz Podominick in 2005 to earn the Big Ten Freshman of the Year as a thrower... Earned All-Big Ten First Team honors in the weight throw... Won the Big Ten weight throw title, the first freshman to win the conference title in the event since 2011 (Dani Bunch - Purdue)... Finished as a Second Team All-American in the weight throw, finishing 16th in Boston at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a mark of 20.08m (65-10 1/2)... 2023 Outdoor Track & Field - Freshman Season: Competed unattached and placed third at Janis Rider/Doug Bolstorff Invitational with a shot put mark of 13.11m (43’ 0.25”) and a hammer throw mark of 50.86m (166’ 10”)... During the Running on Hope Invitational, she finished with a second-place shot put mark of 13.92m (45’ 8”), a ninth-place discus throw mark of 38.48m (126’ 3”), and a fifth-place hammer-throw mark of 50.51m (165’ 8”)... Finished third in her shot put event at the Holst Invitational with the mark 12.98m (42’ 7”)... Placed first in shot put at the mark 14.00m (45’ 1.25”) along with a nineteenth-place hammer throw finish during the St. Thomas Tomcat Invitational.
2023 Indoor Track & Field - Freshman Season: Participated in four shot put events and three weight throws this season, all unattached… Finished third in shot put at the mark 14.33m (47’ 0.25”) and sixth in weight throw with the mark 17.76m (58’ 3.25”) during the Snowshoe Open… Finished with a second-place shot put mark of 13.31m (43’ 8”) and a first-place weight throw distance of 17.66m (57’ 11.25”) at the Gopher Classic… Competed for a sixth-place shot put mark of 13.28m (43’ 7”) and a fourth-place weight throw mark of 17.85m (58’ 6.75”)... Placed third in shot put at the Ice Breaker Open & Multi with a mark of 13.71m (44’ 11.75”).
HIGH SCHOOL:
Set the state record in the Class A Championships for shot put with a throw of 15.19m (49-10), which was top five nationally among all prep competitors... Swept the throwing events at the Class A Championships and took third place in the 100-meter dash in senior season... Was the state champion in shot put and discus and impressively was the state runner-up in the 100m and finished third in the javelin as a junior... Her 100m also ranked sixth in North Dakota Class A high school history... Was a three-sport athlete, playing basketball, volleyball along with competing in track and field and maintained a 3.81 GPA in the classroom... Came to Jamestown, N.D., from Liberia before her freshman year of high school... Was a part of the National Honors Society...
PERSONAL: Majoring in Kinesiology... Child of Sebwe Nabwe... Has one sibling... Enjoys singing, sleeping, basketball, volleyball and listening to music outside of track and field...
