2024 Outdoor Track & Field • Junior Season: Earned a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten team... Was only able to compete in two meets due to injury... Opened the season at the Hurricane Invitational, finishing fifth in the 400m hurdles in a time of 1:02.38... Ran a personal best 400m time of 59.55 at the Clyde Hart Classic and also clocked a 1:02.33 in the 400m hurdles.
2024 Indoor Track & Field • Junior Season: Took a redshirt season.
2023 Outdoor Track & Field • Sophomore Season: Ran in eight meets for the Maroon and Gold during the outdoor campaign... Posted a season-best 400m hurdles time of 1:00.79 at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, her first appearance in the postseason, to finish 10th overall... Was sixth at the Drake Relays as a member of the DMR team in a time of 11:33.58... Was the runner-up in the 400m hurdles at the Running on Hope Invitational in a time of 1:02.02... Went down to Waco, Texas, to finish fourth in the 400m hurdles at the Clyde Hart Classic in a time of 1:02.49.
2023 Indoor Track & Field • Sophomore Season: Opened the indoor season at the Ice Breaker Open at South Dakota State, helping the 4x400m relay team to a runner-up finish... Closed the indoor season at the Snowshoe Open in the 60m, 200m and as a member of the 4x400m relay team... Ran to a 400m indoor lifetime best time of 59.95 at the Jack Johnson Classic.
2022 Outdoor Track & Field • Freshman Season: Competed in four meets during first outdoor season in Dinkytown... Exclusively ran in the 400m hurdles, running a season-best 1:02.31 at the St. Thomas Tommie Twilight.
2022 Indoor Track & Field • Freshman Season: Ran in a pair of meets during her first indoor season at the 'U', posting a season best 59.63 at the Snowshoe Open.
High School: A 2021 graduate of West Aurora HS, where she ran for head coach Teressa Towles • 2021 IHSA Class 3A State Champion in the 300m Hurdles, also finishing third on the 100m Hurdles • finished fourth and fifth in the 300m hurdles and 100m hurdles, respectively, at the 2019 IHSA Class 3A State Championships • eight-time conference champion • three-time all-state and four-time all-conference honoree • trained with coach Brandon Stryganek over the 2021 season, competing for TNT Track Academy • four-time honor-roll recipient, finishing within the top five percent of her class.
Personal: Daughter of Gia and Wally Spagnola • has two siblings, Emma and Nick • her sister, Emma, also competed for the Gophers from 2015-18 • enjoys hiking, reading, water sports and hanging with friends and family in her free time • also played left and center field for the Geneva Foxes for five years.
