HIGH SCHOOL: Earned All-Lake Conference honors from 2022-25... Was All-State in 2022, 2024 and 2025... Was the 200m state champion her junior season... Collected four other top three finishes at the Minnesota State Championships, including a silver medal her freshman season, bronze medal in the 400m her junior season and a bronze medal again in the 400m her senior season... Ran at Nike Outdoor Nationals where she was a champion in the 1600m Sprint Medley Relay, third in the 4x200m relay and fifth in the 4x100m relay... Earned Honor Roll Platinum Seal in Spanish in high school.
PERSONAL: Plans on majoring in Biology, Society and Environment... Child of Afolakemi Iawani and Edward Kuku... Has two siblings... Listed cooking, traveling and trying new things (food activities, etc.) as interests outside of track and field... Chose the 'U' because she says it "gave me the opportunity to play a sport that I love while getting a good education."
