Zachary Bush

Zachary Bush joined the Golden Gopher volleyball program as a volunteer coach in February 2020. Prior to his time at Minnesota, Bush coached two years at Parkland College. While with Parkland, the team placed second at nationals in back-to-back years. He also coached for seven years with Prime Time Volleyball Club, including five at the high school level.
Bush began his coaching career as an assistant coach with the Wethersfield High School varsity program. In 2015, Wethersfield advanced to the first-ever state appearance and took third place. Bush also coached at Centennial High School in 2015, where he was an assistant varsity coach for year years and the program's junior varsity coach in 2016.
Playing both sand and indoor volleyball, Bush competed as a Rightside/Setter for Illinois men's volleyball club team. He also assisted with the Illinois women's program in 2016. Bush graduated from Illinois in December 2018 with a communications degree.
