FRESHMAN SEASON: Played 68 sets in 32 matches on the season ? ended the year with 1.25 kps, 0.35 dps, 0.34 bps, and 0.15 aps ? finished sixth on the team in hitting percentage with .208 (85-41-212) and sixth in kills per set ? had one attack attempt and one dig in her single-set Gopher debut against Kansas State on Aug. 28 ? tallied seven kills and a .545 hitting percentage (7-1-11), one assist, and two solo blocks against Navy on Sept. 1 ? played two sets against Georgia Tech and earned two kills in five swings, one assist, one dig, and two blocks ? aided the three-set victory over Indiana on Nov. 6 by adding four kills and one dig to the team total ? set a career-high eight kills against Iowa on Nov. 13 ? played for five kills, three digs, and a season best four blocks against Wisconsin on Nov. 15 ? tied career best of eight kills and swung to a hitting percentage of .571 (8-0-14) in the five-set match-up against Michigan State on Nov. 21 ? set a career-high of five assists on Nov. 27 ? also added her only service ace of the season, seven kills, two digs, and three blocks in that game against Northwestern ? ended regular season play by again tying her career best of kills at eight and adding one dig and two blocks to the Gopher win against Illinois ? saw time in all five NCAA Tournament games ? had four kills and one block assist against Louisville in a first round game on Dec. 4 ? scored two kills, one assist, and one dig a day later against Tennessee ? played in one set of the NCAA Regional Semifinal game against Colorado State and tallied four attempts and one dig ? added three kills, and one assist to the knock-out win against Florida State in the Minneapolis Region Final three-set game ? played in all three-sets against #2 Texas in the NCAA Final Four game on Dec. 17 in which she went one for two in kills.
CLUB BALL: Competed in the Junior Nationals in 2005, 06, 07 and 08 with the Minnesota Select Maple Grove Club team ? was also the MVP of the 2008 Prep Volleyball Classic Tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended St. Michael-Albertville High School ? named a prepvolleyball.com High School All-American and participated in the Under Armour All-Star match in Omaha last year ? tabbed as the No. 7 ranked senior in the nation according to prepvolleyball.com ? as a senior, she was named First-Team All-State, Star Tribune All-Metro and the conference's MVP ? also helped lead her team to the State Tournament in her senior season ? in her senior season, she had 541 kills, 126 digs, 56 blocks, 43 service aces ? finished her career with over 1,000 career kills.
