PRONUNCIATION

2018 - SENIOR SEASON:
Played in six sets her senior season and had six kills and five blocks • made her first collegiate start in the win over Georgia Southern and had six kills, five blocks • saw action against Green Bay • saw action in the Indiana win.

2017 - JUNIOR SEASON:
Saw action in three sets and had four kills • recorded her first collegiate kill in the 3-0 win over UTSA • played in one set and added two kills in the win over Idaho State • saw action in the Rutgers match and had a kill.

2016 - SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Saw action in the Iowa match during her sophomore season.

2015 - FRESHMAN SEASON:
Made her collegiate debut vs. Texas A&M (8/29) • saw action against Sam Houston State (9/19) • saw action against No. 1 Penn State (9/26).

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:
Played for Canton High School and the Premier Volleyball Academy • playing one year with Canton High School, helped the Chiefs to a 32-13-1 division championship record when she had 81 kills and 73 total blocks • played three years at the Premier Volleyball Academy, including two with its 18-Onitsuka team • in 2014, Premier and Buford took second at nationals, while playing in Nicaragua her junior year.

PERSONAL:
Daughter of Tamika Higgins and Kevin Buford • graduated from Canton High School in 2015 and was the president of her high school's DECA chapter • majoring in BME and sports management.
