  • Suffered a season-ending injury at Big Ten Championships, going 0-2 at the tournament
  • Closed regular season with 4-7 dual meet record, going 1-5 against Big Ten opponents
  • Defeated Indiana's Derek Gilcher by 3-2 decision for first conference win of the year (1/20)
  • Earned two dual wins against Lindenwood and Cal Poly, including a 7-5 decision over Luka Wick (12/11)
  • Made season debut against Binghamton, earning a 14-5 major decision over Connor Decker
  • Began the season as the second-ranked 157-pounder in the country in the InterMat polls
2021-22 • REDSHIRT JUNIOR
  • Went 16-2 in his third season as a starter for the Gophers
  • Earned seven wins over ranked competitors on the season
  • Went 8-2 in dual competition, with a 6-2 Big Ten record
  • Suffered a season-ending injury in the Ohio State dual on Feb. 11
  • Earned a 2-1 road victory over top-10 opponent Kendall Coleman in the Purdue dual
  • Defeated #14 Will Lewan by 4-3 decision on the road against Michigan on Jan. 28
  • Earned first conference win of the season at Iowa, defeating #12 Kaleb Young by 4-3 decision
  • Won the UNI Open with a 4-0 record on the day
  • Took a 15-9 decision victory over 2021 NCAA All-American Wyatt Sheets in season opener vs. Oklahoma State
  • Won the Bison Open with a 4-0 record, defeating #10 Jared Franek (NDSU) in the finals

2020-21 • REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE
  • Tallied a 14-6 record as a second-year starter for Minnesota
  • NCAA qualifier at 157 pounds, earning All-American status with a 6th-place finish
  • Went 4-3 at NCAA Championships, with only losses to top-3 seeds in the bracket
  • Advanced to quarterfinals of first NCAA tourney with wins over Connor Brady (Virginia Tech) and Jacori Teemer (Arizona State)
  • Clinched All-American status with 3-2 decision over Iowa's Kaleb Young to avenge two earlier season losses
  • Placed 3rd at 2021 Big Ten Championships with a 3-1 record
  • Went 7-2 in dual competition on the season, all against conference opponents
  • Defeated #5 Kendall Coleman (Purdue) at Rutgers triangular on Jan. 31
  • Earned first dual win of the season against Caleb Licking (Nebraska) on Jan. 8
2019-20 • REDSHIRT FRESHMAN
  • Went 25-6 on the season in first year in the starting lineup for the Maroon & Gold
  • Named an NWCA First-Team All-American at 149 pounds in 2020
  • Qualified for 2020 NCAA Championships, earning the 7-seed prior to its cancellation
  • Placed 4th in his first conference tournament, going 3-2 on the weekend
  • Had an 11-4 record in dual competition, with an 8-4 conference record
  • Closed out his first regular season with his only losses coming against top-5 opponents
  • Earned a pair of victories back in his home state of Indiana on Jan. 31 and Feb. 2 against Purdue and Indiana, respectively
  • Earned first career Big Ten dual victory with a 7-4 decision over No. 12 Cole Martin of Wisconsin
  • Made his way into the national top-five by December of his first season
  • Named Big Ten Wrestler of the Week the week of December 10
  • Won the Cliff Keen Las Vegas 149-pound title with five straight victories, including the final three over top-ten opponents
  • Bison Open champion with a 4-0 record
  • Made collegiate dual debut and earned first dual victory on Nov. 1 against Russell Rohlfing of Cal State Bakersfield
