- Defeated Indiana's Derek Gilcher by 3-2 decision for first conference win of the year (1/20)
- Earned two dual wins against Lindenwood and Cal Poly, including a 7-5 decision over Luka Wick (12/11)
- Made season debut against Binghamton, earning a 14-5 major decision over Connor Decker
- Began the season as the second-ranked 157-pounder in the country in the InterMat polls
- Went 16-2 in his third season as a starter for the Gophers

- Advanced to quarterfinals of first NCAA tourney with wins over Connor Brady (Virginia Tech) and Jacori Teemer (Arizona State)
- Clinched All-American status with 3-2 decision over Iowa's Kaleb Young to avenge two earlier season losses
- Placed 3rd at 2021 Big Ten Championships with a 3-1 record
- Went 7-2 in dual competition on the season, all against conference opponents
