Logan Sass joined the University of Minnesota in August 2021 as an Athletic Communications Assistant. He currently works as the primary media contact for Men's Wrestling. With his experience in wrestling, Sass has worked with one of the nation's premier collegiate athletes Gable Steveson, coordinating daily communications efforts for both of Steveson's national title runs as well as his Olympic gold medal performance at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
Prior to joining the full-time staff, Sass worked as a student assistant for two seasons where he served as the primary contact for Men's Tennis, planning planning and executing all social media, press releases, statistics and award nominations. He also served as the secondary content for wrestling, where he was primarily responsible for all social media content and feature writing on GopherSports.com.
Sass additionally works as a part of the social media team, assisting in the weekly social media efforts across all of the Golden Gophers' varsity programs.
A native of La Crescent, Minn., Sass graduated from the University of Minnesota in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies.
