Co-winner of Fraser Dean Most Courageous Wrestler Award with Gordon Bierschenk • Finished with a 6-8 record on the year • Spent first half of the season at 165-pounds before bumping up to 174-pounds • Finished 2-2 at Big Ten Tournament in seventh place • Tallied two falls and a major decision throughout he year Went 2-1 as Minnesota swept the Lone Star duals on Jan. 3 • Earned a decision for his first career Big Ten win as Minnesota beat Michigan State on Jan. 25 •
