2012-13 Senior Season: Competed in the 1650 freestyle at the 2013 NCAA Championships finished 3rd in the 1650 freestyle (16:09.55) and 11th in the 500 freestyle with a personal-best time of 4:44.56 at the Big Ten Championships (2/20) also notched a personal best in the 200 free (1:50.10) at the event placed first in the 1000 free at Hawaii (1/12) had second-place finishes in the 1000 free at the Quad Duals (2/1), vs. Iowa (11/2) and vs. Iowa State (10/12) finished third in the 500 free vs. the Cyclones and in the 400 IM at the Jean Freeman Invite (11/30) earned her fourth varsity letter.
2011-12 Junior Season: Earned All-America honorable mention status in the 1650 freestyle (16:13.75) with a 14th-place finish at the NCAA Championships recorded a fourth-place finish in the 1650 free (16:11.24) at the Big Ten Championships also competed in the preliminaries of the 500 free competed in the 200 free and the 100 fly at the Minnesota Challenge (2/3-4) finished fourth in the 1000 free (10:02.01) at the Quad Duals (1/27-28) secured a fifth-place finish in the 1000 free, sixth in the 500 free and 10th in the 200 free at Missouri (1/14) finished third in the 1650 free and fifth in the 500 free at Hawaii (12/31) finished 18th in the finals of the 800-meter free at the Minnesota Grand Prix (11/11-13) placed fourth in the 1000 freestyle (10:08.66) at Iowa (11/4) tallied a fourth-place finish in the 1000 freestyle (10:15.34) and a sixth-place finish in the 500 freestyle (5:03.19) vs. Kansas (10/21) finished second in the 1650 freestyle (16:57.75) in the dual meet vs. Michigan Academic All-Big Ten.
2010-11 Sophomore Season: All-America honorable mention honoree (14th), swimming a career best in the 1,650 free at the NCAA Championships (16:05.91) swam a season best of 4:46.42 in the 500 free at the Big Ten Championships took third place in the 1,650 free swam two NCAA `B[apos] qualifying times at the Minnesota Grand Prix in the 500 (4:49.76) and 1,650 (16:19.28) free finished third in 1,000 free and fourth in 500 free at Wisconsin dual (10/29) finished second in 1,000 free at Michigan State dual (10/9) finished second in the 1,650 free at Michigan dual (10/8) Academic All-Big Ten honoree earned second varsity letter
2009-10 Freshman season: Competed in her first NCAA Championships as a freshman held the team[apos]s second-best time in the 1,650 free (16:12.99) and the 1,000 free (9:47.89) opened her Gopher career with a second-place finish in the 1,000 free at Wisconsin (10/30) also finished second in the 1,000 free at the Iowa dual (11/6) earned a fifth-place finish in the 1,000 free and the 1,650 free at the Minnesota Grand Prix (11/13) one of three Gophers to place in the top three at the OSU Invite in the 500 free when she clocked a time of career-best time of 4:46.37 added another career-best time at the OSU Invite, this time inthe 1,650 free (16:21.09) and placed second overall held a time of 4:58.40 in the 500 free at the Quad Duals (1/29) and fourth overall in the 1,000 free (9:58.81) placed fourth overall in the 1,650 free and second on the Gopher squad behind Big Ten Champion Ashley Steenvoorden added an 11th overall finish in the 500 free (2/17) competed in the 1,650 free and placed 27th overall.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Cherry Creek High School swam with both Cherry Creek and Mission Aurora Colorado Swimming state champion in the 500 free and the 400 free relay as a junior and the 200 free, 500 free and 400 free relay as a senior named the Colorado Swimmer of the Year in 2009 holds the state record in the 1650 and 1500 for 17-18 year olds a three-time all-state honoree All-American in 2008 and 2009 scholatic All-American by USA Swimming four-year letterwinner in swimming has competed at Junior Nationals in 2007, 2008 and 2009 enters her collegiate career with top times of 1:50.03 in the 200 free, 4:48.74 in the 500 free and 16:35.91 in the 1,650 free.
Personal: Born April 20, 1991 majoring in finance daughter of Dave and Teresa Brandon has a younger sister Bonnie dad played basketball at Northern Colorado lists breaking the state record in the 400 free relay as her most memorable sports thrill.
