2021 Indoor Track & Field • Junior Season: Named team co-captain • competed in shot put at five meets • recorded a career-best mark of 17.36m (56-11.50) to place 10th in shot put at the Big Ten Indoor Championships • finished third in shot put at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational.
2021 Outdoor Track & Field • Junior Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten honoree • competed in shot put at seven meets • placed 39th in shot put at the NCAA West Prelim • placed 17th in shot put at the Big Ten Championships • recorded a career-best mark of 17.95m (58-10.75) to place fourth in shot put at the Wisconsin B1G Invitational.
2020 Indoor Track & Field • Sophomore Season: Competed in shot put at two meets • recorded a pair of top-10 finishes with a third-place showing at the Minnesota Open and a ninth-place finish at the SDSU Holiday Open.
2020 Outdoor Track & Field • Sophomore Season: The 2020 outdoor track & field season was canceled on March 12, 2020, when the Big Ten and NCAA announced they were ceasing competitions and championships because of COVID-19 public health concerns.
2019 Indoor Track & Field • Freshman Season: Competed in the shot put at seven meets and recorded six top-10 finishes • recorded a season-best mark of 16.54 meters (54-03.25 ft.) to finish fourth at the Graduate Classic • made Big Ten debut, placing 19th in shot put at the Big Ten Indoor Championships.
2019 Outdoor Track & Field • Freshman Season: Competed in shot put at eight meets • earned first letter in track & field • recorded two wins and seven top-10 finishes • won shot put at the Tom Cat Twilight behind a throw of 16.87 meters (55-04.25 ft.) • won shot put at the Bolstorff Twilight with a throw of 16.45 meters (53-11.75 ft.) • recorded a season-best mark of 16.96 meters (55-97.75 ft.) to place third at the Meet of the UnSaintly • finished 11th in shot put at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships.
High School: A 2017 graduate of Lakeville South High School • competed in track & field, football, and Olympic weightlifting • won state title in shot put at the 2017 Minnesota Class AA Track & Field State Championships after finishing as state runner-up as a junior • finished 12th in discus at the state meet as a junior • won South Suburban Conference shot put title and Section 1AA shot put title as a senior • won state championships and national championships in weightlifting.
Personal: Son of Chris and Katie Rousemiller • has four siblings, Connor, William, Nicholas, and Amanda • was a member of the Gopher football team in 2017 • brother, Connor, also competed for the Gophers as a thrower • father, Chris, played college football at Mankato State University • Human Physiology major.
