Chelsea Gruber joined the Health & Performance staff at the University of Minnesota in 2020 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer working primarily with Men’s & Women’s Swimming and Diving. 
 
Gruber completed her undergraduate education at the Ohio State University graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training.   Chelsea attended the University of Minnesota for graduate school and worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with Men’s & Women’s Swimming and Diving from 2018 – 2020.  She graduated in 2020 with a Master of Education degree in Kinesiology.  Her graduate research project was titled: Impact of Shoulder Movement Characteristics on Pain and Performance in Division I Swimmers.    
 
Gruber is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and a MN State Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT). 
 
A native of New Jersey, Chelsea resides in St. Paul, MN, with her dog, Rain, and enjoys running, reading, playing soccer and teaching her dog new tricks.
