Jacob Nonnenmann joined Gopher Sports Marketing in June of 2026 as an Assistant Director of Marketing. He serves as the marketing contact for Volleyball, Wrestling, Gymnastics, and Tennis.
Prior to joining Gopher Athletics, Nonnenmann worked as a Marketing Coordinator for the University of Iowa Athletics Department, leading the marketing and game presentation initiatives for several athletic programs.Â
The Kalona, Iowa, native earned his bachelor's degree in Sport and Recreation Management from the University of Iowa. As a student, Jacob spent time as a Marketing Assistant with Iowa Athletics, supporting a variety of athletic programs including Women's Basketball during their 2023 and 2024 Final Four appearing seasons.
Nonnenmann began his career in collegiate athletics after gaining experience with a minor league hockey organization as their Marketing and Game Presentation Coordinator.
