Jaime Ayuso Jr joined the Athletic Medicine staff in 2025 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and works with the Football team.

Originally from New York City, NY and Orlando, FL, Ayuso attended Everglades University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Alternative Medicine in 2014.Ā  He then earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine in 2019 from Keiser University. Ā Jaime turned his education towards athletic training and attended Minnesota State University – Mankato, where he graduated in 2025 with a Master of Science in Athletic Training.Ā  Jaime spent time during his graduate education working with Gopher Football and Track & Field in Minneapolis.

Dr. Ayuso worked as a Chiropractic Clinical Sports Resident at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and has been a medical provider with USA Fencing.Ā  He was involved with the World Games in Birmingham, AL in 2022 and the FISU World University Winter Games in 2023.Ā 

Jaime is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), MN State Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT), Doctor of Chiropractic, Nationally Registered Medical Technician (EMT), and a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.Ā  He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Minnesota Athletic Trainers Association.Ā 
Jaime is married to Lauren Ayuso and they have 2 daughters, Paisley & Monroe.Ā
