Shanice Cheatham joined the Athletic Medicine staff in 2018 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and works with the Women’s Gymnastics team.
Originally from Marion, Iowa, Cheatham attended Iowa State University and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2016. She continued her education at Oklahoma State University where she worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Women’s Equestrian team. Shanice graduated in 2018 with a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science.
Shanice is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and is a MN State Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT). She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Minnesota Athletic Trainers Association. She holds certification in Biomechanical Taping for Movement Control.
