Wyatt Taylor joined the Athletic Medicine staff at the University of Minnesota in August 2026 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer, working with the Men’s and Women’s Track & Field and Cross-Country programs.

Originally from White Bear Lake, MN, Wyatt attended Winona State University for his undergraduate and graduate studies, completing a bachelor’s degree in Movement Science in 2023 and a master’s degree in athletic training in 2024. While in graduate school, Wyatt spent time as a clinical Athletic Training student at the University of Minnesota with Track & Field and Cross-Country during the fall 2023 semester and at Montana State University with their Men’s Basketball program during the spring 2024 semester.

Prior to joining the University of Minnesota staff, Wyatt worked as an Athletic Trainer at High Point University in North Carolina with Track & Field and Cross-Country from 2024–2026. While at HPU, he served as an Athletic Training Education Preceptor in 2025 and 2026.

Taylor is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and a Minnesota State Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT). He holds certifications as a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Graston Technique® M1, and in American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT) Dry Needling (DN1–2).
