Zach Nichols is an Athletic Equipment Manager who serves the University of Minnesota football program and assists the oversight of the complete daily operations of the program’s equipment needs.
Nichols was most recently the Head Football Equipment Manager at Northern Illinois for the 2023 and 2024 football seasons. Prior to NIU, Nichols worked as an equipment assistant with the Arizona Cardinals for the 2022 season and became certified within the Athletic Equipment Managers Association.
Nichols received his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Minnesota in 2021. During his time at Minnesota, Nichols worked with the football program from 2018-2021 as a student equipment manager. Nichols also worked NFL training camps with the New York Jets (2019), Minnesota Vikings (2020), and San Francisco 49ers (2021).
