University of Minnesota equipment manager Lee Greseth enters his 17th season with the Golden Gopher rowing and men’s hockey programs in 2025-26. A three-time NCAA men's hockey champion (2000, 2004, 2005), he has helped lead the Maroon and Gold to 10 conference championships and a pair of NCAA runner-up finishes.

Greseth's role as equipment manager consists of ordering, preparing, maintaining and repairing equipment for the teams. He has played an integral role in hosting five NCAA Men's Frozen Four events, including at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., in both 2018 and 2024. He also helped manage the NCAA Men's Final Four at U.S. Bank Stadium in 2019.

A graduate of Rochester John Marshall High School in 1986, he got started as a student equipment manager with the hockey program at United States International University in San Diego, Calif., with former Gopher head coach Brad Buetow. He returned to his roots and earned a varsity letter as a student manager with the Minnesota hockey program from 1990-92.

After finishing his degree, Greseth had stints at Colorado College (1992-93), Alaska Anchorage (1994-97), North Dakota (1997-2000), and Denver (2000-09) before returning to the Gophers in 2009, where he has been a mainstay with the program since.

Greseth and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Plymouth and have two children: a daughter, Morgan, and a son, Luke.
