CROASTON TAKES SIXTH AT ALL-AMERICAN DIVING INVITATIONAL

metUniversity of Minnesota sophomore Dan Croaston, of Champlin, Minn., took sixth place with 324.35 points in the Austin Cup quarterfinals of the three meter diving competition at the All-American Diving Invitational in Austin, Texas, this afternoon. The finals for the signature event, the Austin Cup, will take place Saturday night.

Troy Dumais of Texas won the quarterfinal with 377.55 points. Rio Ramirez of Miami was second with 372.25, Danny Bergman of Nebraska was third with 358.95, Ryan Harmon of Texas was fourth with 354.30 points and Corey Fox of Louisiana State was fifth with 352.25 points. The All-American Diving Invitational features some of the top divers in the country and is being held at the Browning Diving Pool in the Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
