Tepper Named to Team USA Roster for 2026 Pan Pacific Championships

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – Former University of Minnesota swimmer Joey Tepper has been named to the Team USA roster for the 2026 Pan Pacific Championships, as announced by USA Swimming today.

 

Tepper earned the nomination based on his recent performances in national open water competitions. Tepper placed fourth overall in the men's 10k at the 2026 U.S. Open Water Nationals before tallying 22nd overall and 55th overall finishes at 2026 Open Water World Cup stops in Ibiza and Golfo Aranci.

 

The 2026 Pan Pacific Open Water Championships will take place on August 10 in Long Beach, California at Marine Stadium. Tepper will also be eligible to compete in the pool competition of the Pan Pacific Championships from August 12-15 at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center. 2026 marks the 14th rendition of the Pan Pacific Championships, hosting competitors from the United States, Australia, Canada and Japan.
