MINNESOTA'S LINDQVIST 5TH IN THE COUNTRY IN THE DECATHLON

oJunior Glenn Lindqvist is currently ranked 5th in the nation in the decathlon after a fourth-place finish at the Mt. Sac Decathlon in Walnut, Calif., on April 15- 16.

The Aland, Finland, native scored 7,578 points to set a personal best in the decathlon to earn the fourth-place finish. Lindqvist was the No. 1 collegiate finisher at the Mt. Sac Decathlon.

Next up for the Golden Gophers is a trip to Des Moines, Iowa to take part in the 90th annual Drake Relays on April 23-24.
