LAVOI EARNS HONORABLE MENTION ALL-AMERICA HONOR AT NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

IndMinnesota junior Tracy LaVoi earned an honorable mention All-America award with her 16th-place finish in 1 meter diving at the NCAA Championships in Indianapolis.
LaVoi scored the only point of the first day of the NCAA meet for Minnesota. She becomes the first Minnesota diver to score at the national meet since 1997.
The Gopher 200 medley relay team just missed out on scoring, finishing 17th in 1:45.01. Minnesota's best individual finish in swimming came from sophomore Jinny Smedstad, who finished 23rd in the 400 freestyle in 4:14.26.
