SCHAUMAN LEADS GOPHER GOLFERS TO LEAD AT WOLVERINE INVITE

Minnesota is seeking its second team title in less than a week after capturing the championship at its own event on Tuesday at Dellwood Hills Golf Club in Dellwood, Minn. The Golden Gophers posted two of the top four team scores of the day, including a one-over par 285 in the opening round. Minnesota is at six-over par 574, with Miami of Ohio at nine-over par 577 and third-place Toledo at 14-over par 582.
Schauman, a native of Djursholm, Sweden, has a three- stroke lead over Lee Curry of Miami of Ohio heading into Sunday's final round. Sophomores Ben Meyers and David Morgan are both tied for 18th individually at five-over par 147.
The final round of the tournament is scheduled for Sunday morning.
