BIG TEN TOURNAMENT UPDATE - MICHIGAN STAYS ALIVE; PURDUE ELIMINATED

CDMichigan (27-27) downed Purdue (32-24), 10-2, in the first elimination game of the tournament before 359 fans at Bill Davis Stadium. The Wolverines advance to play the loser of tomorrow's 2:35 p.m. CDT game between Illinois and Minnesota at 11:05 CDT Saturday morning, while Purdue is eliminated.
