Individually, sophomore Simon Nash led the way for the Maroon in Gold shooting a 1-over 72 on Sunday to finish in a tie for seventh. Junior Wilhelm Shauman, the event's defending champion, finished tied for ninth at 2-over 144. Sophomore Justin Smith tied for 20th (71-76=149) and junior Matt Anderson tied for 36th (72-77=149). Junior Joe Affrunti shot a 73 on Sunday to improve to 63rd place (80-73=153).
Minnesota is next in action on Tuesday in the Adams Cup in Narragansett, R.I.
