a.m.The Golden Gophers' football game against the No. 5 Iowa Hawkeyes this Saturday at 11:05 a.m., is sold out.

The will-call window at the Metrodome is located at Gate B and will be open at 8:00 a.m. No other ticket windows will be open at the Metrodome due to the sell-out. Fans picking up tickets at the will-call window are advised to get there early due to the large quantity of tickets being held at will-call.

The Gophers had a season-high attendance mark of 53,773 against Michigan last weekend and will surpass that with the sellout crowd for their home finale. Minnesota will have 50,000+ on hand for the second time this season and 60,000+ for the first time since the Gophers hosted Wisconsin (63,108) on October 9, 1999. The last sellout for the Gophers was against Wisconsin (64,016) on November 11, 1995 and the last time the Gophers had two home games with at least 50,000 people was in 2000 against Northwestern (59,004) and against Iowa (54,387). This will be the 15th sellout for the Gophers in the Metrodome and the first under Glen Mason.

With this Saturday's game included, the Gophers have had more sellouts against Iowa (6) than against any other team.
