MGF: Golfers Finish Eighth at Landfall Tradition

shThe University of Minnesota men's golf team finished eighth at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C., Sunday. The Gophers shot a final round 294 and totaled 873 (292-287 -294=873) to finish 22 shots behind tournament champion Michigan State.

Individually, the Gophers were led by senior Ben Greve and sophomore Bronson La'Cassie. La'Cassie fired a final round even-par 72 and Greve a 2-over 74 to finish in a tie for 13th. Junior Josh Persons and sophomore Naill Turner each carded a 74 Sunday. Persons tied for 35th and Turner tied for 44th. Freshman John Larson finished 56th after a 79 in the final round.

This was the final tournament of the fall for the Golden Gophers.
