Women's Swimming Finishes NCAA Championships

teThe Golden Gophers completed the three-day NCAA Championships, hosted by Texas A & M in College Station, Texas. The event closed out the 2003-04 season for the Minnesota women's swimming and diving team.
Senior swimmer and team captain Juleen Rodakowski completed her Golden Gopher career with a 20-place finish in the 200-meter butterfly. Rodakowski posted a time of 2:13.20.
Kate Hardt posted finished the 100-meter free with a time of :56.51, while Katy Coombe added a 52nd-place finish in the same event. Coombe clocked a time of :56.64. There were over 80 participants in the 100-meter free event alone.
Like Rodakowski, Schold completed her Gopher career at the NCAA Championships. Schold finished 31st in the 200-meter breaststroke with a time of 2:31.93
In diving action, Rebecca Cornthwaite finished 11th in the platform diving event.
