Golden Gophers Send Seven to Nationals
Minnesota had seven members represent the Maroon and Gold at the 2004 NCAA Championships. The last time the Golden Gophers had seven or more participants at the NCAA Championships dates back to 1998-99 season. Minnesota had eight qualify for the national meet in 1999, all of which earned All-America honors.

All-America Honors
Rebecca Cornthwaite placed 11th in the platform at the NCAA Championships, earning her second straight All-America honorable mention honors in platform event. As a freshman, qualified for the NCAA Championships, competing in the 1, 3 and the platform events. She placed ninth in the platform in her sophomore campaign, while 11th in her final year of competition. The Adelaide, South Australia native became Minnesota's first All-American diver since Kara Martin earned the honor in 1995.
