WTF: Spandl Places Third at Northridge Spring Break Open

BrJacenta Spandl scored 4,929 points to finish third in the heptathlon competition at the Northridge Spring Break Open in Irvine, Calif. Spandl tallied 2,903 points in her first four events yesterday, but advanced three spots in the standings during the second day of competition.

Teammate Liz Roehrig followed in fourth-place totaling 4,767 points. Christen Kingsley accumulated 4,682 points placing sixth and Maggie Jaunich tallied 4,612 points to finish eighth.

The Gophers continue competition on the Matador Track tomorrow starting at 9 a.m.
