Ben Greve was named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week. He shares the final conference weekly laurel of the season with Indiana's Jeff Overton and Penn State's Robert Rahanna.

Greve and Overton shared individual medalist honors at the Fossum/Taylor Made with a 54-hole score of 6-under-par 210. Greve (70-74-66) fired a career-best 66 – the second- lowest single round by a Gopher this season – in the final round to earn a share of the title after opening rounds of 70 and 74. He captured the first individual title and conference weekly award of his career. Led by Greve’s 66, the Gophers clinched the Fossum/TaylorMade title with a 54-hole total of 867.

Greve's previous career-best finish was a tie for seventh at the Windon Memorial Classic in 2003. His three-round score of 210 was also a career low and is the second-best tournament score of the season for the Gophers.

The Gophers handled the 15-team field that included nine Big Ten teams. It served as the final tuneup for the Big Ten Championships, which begin tomorrow at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wis. The Gophers finished third last year in that event snapping a two-year title run.
