Women's Golf Finishes 13th at Georgia State Invitational

The University of Minnesota women's golf team finished 13th at the Georgia State/Pelican Preserve Invitational in Fort Meyers, Fla. The Golden Gophers carded a final round 311 for a three-round total o 929, 50 shots behind tournament titleist Texas Tech.
The Gophers were led by sophomore Sydney Liles who finished in a tie for 38th at 12-over 228. Liles carded a final round 75 on Tuesday. Freshman Christine Herzog shot a third round 76 and finished tied for 45th at 13-over 229. Junior Kelli Berns tied for 60th at 20-over 236 and freshman Leslie Grabeman tied for 77th at 27-over 243. Sophomore Young Na Lee tied for 79th at 28-over 244.
The Gophers are back in action Oct. 29-30 at the DeBary Intercollegiate in DeBary, Fla.
