Gopher Women Announce Basketball Television Schedule

Nine Minnesota women’s basketball games will be televised this season. The Golden Gophers will have four home games and five road games broadcast in 2006-07. In addition to the regular-season games on the television schedule, all games of the Big Ten Tournament and the NCAA Tournament will again be televised.
Minnesota has four appearances on Comcast Sports Chicago, as part of the Big Ten Conference’s television package. Fox Sports Net North will broadcast an additional five games. FSN will also broadcast three of the Gophers’ Comcast Sports Chicago contests, two of them on a tape-delayed basis.
The game times of three games were changed to accommodate the television schedule. The Gophers’ Jan. 4 game at Ohio State will tip off at 8 p.m. Eastern (7 p.m. Central). The Minnesota at Wisconsin contest on Jan. 28 will now begin at 12:30 p.m. The only home game affected is the Feb. 11 game versus Indiana, which has been moved to a 12 noon start.
