Gopher Rowing Cancels Head of the Mississippi

The University of Minnesota rowing team has cancelled its Head of the Mississippi event due to wind conditions. The event, which was the only fall event for Minnesota, will not be rescheduled. The Gophers will open the season on the road at the Head of the Iowa, Oct. 29. Minnesota's next home event will be April, 14 when the Gophers host Iowa and Wisconsin at Lake Phalen.
