In the 2V4 was Stephanie Holzwart as the coxswain, Angela Reesman at stroke, Liz Ponder, Lauren Van Proosdy and Jennifer Sharpe at bow.

The Minnesota novice team swept its competition when both the First Novice and Second Novice Eight teams won. "Louisville did a great job of completely preparing for the race," head coach Wendy Davis said. "They over stroked us by four or five strokes a minute. We would start to pull out on them and they would come back. They wanted this sprint more than we did. We are in the process of trying to get everyone healthy and we hope to have that by next weekend when we face Tennessee."

Minnesota will train in Tennessee during spring break and will continue action next weekend against Tennessee.
