Gophers Finish Second at Fossum Invitational

In addition to La'Cassie, freshman Victor Almstrom tied for 10th with a 1-over-par score of 217. Almstrom fired a final round 70 to record his second top-10 finish in of the Spring season. Junior Niall Turner carded a final round 72 to move up into a tie for 26th at 7-over 223. Senior Josh Persons tied for 31st at 9-over 225 and sophomore Clayton Rask tied for 43rd at 12-over 228. Freshman Andrew Paulson, playing as an individual, tied for 55th at 15-over 231.
Minnesota will compete in the Big Ten Championships next weekend in Lake Forest, Ill., at Conway Farms Golf Club beginning with 36 holes on Friday followed by 18 holes on Saturday and Sunday.
