Gopher Wrestlers Ready for Run at National Title

The top-ranked Golden Gopher wrestling team finished its final preparations for the 2007 NCAA Championships in Detroit, Mich., on Wednesday. Minnesota's nine grapplers went through the required medical checks and a team practice, while heavyweight Cole Konrad and head coach J Robinson met the media. Minnesota will begin its quest for a third NCAA Championship on Thursday when the tournament kicks off at 10 a.m. Central at the Palace in Auburn Hills. The first session will include pigtails and the first round.
