4/16/2007 12:00:00 AM | Women's Basketball
Life around basketball never ends for the Golden Gopher women’s basketball coaches and staff. With the season over by nearly a month and plenty of recruiting efforts in the books, Golden Gopher head coach Pam Borton still takes the time to fit in a few speaking engagements.
Borton will be the keynote speaker at tonight’s (April 16) Becker High School Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Association Banquet. On Wednesday, Borton has the opportunity to speak for the Minnesota Association of Women Police at their annual spring training conference in Grand Rapids, Minn. Next week, Borton’s speaking schedule contains a date at Dain Roucher Brokers for former Gopher men’s hockey player Wally Chapman and associates.
