Rowing Time Changed to 8 a.m. on April 21

Due to projected high winds, the University of Minnesota race against Kansas that was originally scheduled for 10 a.m. tomorrow, has been moved up to an 8 a.m. start at Lake Phalen in St. Paul, Minn. Competing in the event will be Division I teams Minnesota and Kansas, followed by the St. Thomas club teams and the Minnesota men's club team. Nine races will be held in 10-minute intervals with the Minnesota and Kansas First Varsity Eight race at 9:20 a.m. to round out the competition.
The Golden Gophers compete in their final regular season race before heading to the Big Ten Championships, April 28 in Madison, Wis. The Gophers finished second at Big Tens last year and had all six boats compete in the Grand Final. Minnesota's First Varsity Eight is currently ranked eighth in the country and second highest in the Big Ten with Ohio State ranking ahead of them in third.
