Hi everyone!
For nine days in the beginning of June, I had the amazing opportunity to visit Zoe at home in Australia. After 22 hours of traveling, I finally arrived in her hometown of Perth, where I stayed for five days, visiting her family and friends and seeing everything that Western Australia has to offer. This picture was taken when we visited the coast on one of my first days there. Even though it is their winter right now, the weather was comfortable. Some of the highlights of my visit to Perth were eating "chips" at a restaurant at the bay, petting kangaroos and koala bears, and going to an Australian-rules football game.
A week after I arrived, Zoe and I took the four-hour plane ride across the island to Sydney, where we stayed with her relatives. For the next two days we explored the city, shopping downtown and visiting well-known places like Bondi Beach and the Sydney Opera house. After our visit, Zoe and I flew back to the States together.
I had a blast seeing Zoe's home and visiting a new country, and Zoe and I are already brainstorming our next adventure.
