Greetings from Coach Pam Borton!

The past six years for the Minnesota women’s basketball program have been truly fulfilling for all of us. Our program has risen to national prominence, but we all must remember that any current success is build on the foundation of those players who took to the court before us, whether that be in the Bierman Fieldhouse in the late 1970s, the Sports Pavilion in the 1990s or the past and present in Williams Arena.

There is nothing more important then remembering where you came from. You are an important part of our tradition and the future of Golden Gopher basketball. I look forward to meeting and hearing from you in the near future. Please stop by our offices, practices or a game. I would love to meet all of you. We would enjoy having you involved with our program and the special group of student-athletes who wear the jersey you once did and share in the pride of being a Golden Gopher. Minnesota is a special place!
