How do you see your team heading into Big Ten play?
We are excited to resume Big 10 play. We feel good about where the team is and the potential to continue getting better. We are healthy, confident and ready to roll!
What can we expect from the Big Ten this season?
We expect nothing but the best from ourselves each and every year. We expect to contend for a Big 10 title every year and this year is no different. The Big 10 is one of the best conferences in the country and we know we need to bring our A game every night.
You have five seniors on this year's team. What do you expect from them?
We have a very solid senior class as a whole and one that has a tremendous amount of experience. We hope that experience will come into play starting the Big 10 season and they can continue leading this team to great accomplishments this year.
Obviously it's a goal to get into the NCAA Tournament each season, it is even a bigger goal since Minnesota hosts the First and Second Rounds?
Yes, the NCAA Tournament is a goal each year and then to make a run in the tourney! Of course, it is a bigger expectation because we are hosting and we need to be playing in the Barn come March. That is in the back of our minds, but we can't get ahead of ourselves. We are just taking one game at time, but also aware that every game is a big deal. We will play every game like it is our last one.
