Minnesota Wrestling Signs Four

"We're really happy that the class that we've signed so far gives us a lot of strength in the middle weights," Minnesota head coach J Robinson said. "This class on paper looks really good to start out with. The thing that we like most about them is that they are passionate about wrestling. They are hard workers, they're great kids, so we're looking forward to this class coming in."
Storley is a five-time South Dakota state wrestling champion out of Webster, S.D. and currently bolsters a 163-match win streak. The 171 pounder tallied a perfect 44-0 record as a junior last season and has earned numerous national honors. Storley earned his third Junior National Championship in 2010 at 171 lbs. after previously winning the 2010 Freestyle Junior National championship at 171 lbs. and the 2009 Folkstyle Junior National title at 152 lbs. Storley was also named the 2010 Outstanding Wrestler of the Disney Duals after earning earning a gold medal at the Orlando, Fla. event at 171 lbs. The grappler also won the Freshman National title at 130 lbs. in 2008. Win Magazine and InterMat have Storley ranked as the No. 1 wrestler in the country at 171 lbs.
Keogh is a five-time Minnesota state tournament place-winning senior for Apple Valley High School and teammates with Kingsley. Keogh won the 160 lbs. Class AAA state title last season as a junior - his first state tournament appearance with Apple Valley. Prior to his junior season, he competed for Thief River Falls/Goodridge High School and was a four-time state competitor. Keogh was runner up at 140 lbs. as a sophomore, runner up at 130 lbs. as a freshman, sixth at 119 lbs. as a eighth grader and fourth as a seventh grader at 103 lbs. Nationally, the senior placed fourth in freestyle at the 2010 USA Wrestling Junior Nationals - earning All-American honors - and was a 2009 Sophomore NHSCA National Champion. Keogh is currently ranked No. 1 in the nation at 160 lbs. by Win Magazine.
Dolezal, a two-time Wisconsin state champion and a five-time All-American, is the first wrestler from Marshfield (Wis.) High School to compete for a Division I program. He won his first state title as a freshman at 140 lbs. and added another last season at 145. Dolezal was the state runner up last season as a sophomore. The senior was selected to represent the United State at the 2010 Pan-American Games last July in Manaus, Brazil - winning a gold medal in Greco-Roman and was the runner up in freestyle. Dolezal is ranked No. 8 in the U.S. at 152 lbs. by Win Magazine.
At 112lbs., Kingsley is ranked No. 16 in the country by Win Magazine and No. 19 by InterMat. He is a senior for Apple Valley (Minn.) High School - the top-ranked high school program in the nation according to InterMat. Kingsley earned a third-place finish in the 2010 Minnesota state tournament. He also earned All-America honors at the 2010 Junior Nationals in Fargo, N.D. - finishing in sixth-place at the event.
